Day 1: Arusha - Ngorongoro

Pick up from Arusha and drive early in the morning to Ngorongoro and descend 600 metres down the crater which is home to an abundance of wildlife besides being a photogenic paradise. Ngorongoro crater is the largest intact Caldera in the world and it teams with abundant wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Prides of Lions, herds of Cape Buffalos, Impalas, Thomson Gazelles, Rhinos, Giraffes, Golden & Black backed Jackals, Zebras, Cheetahs, Leopards and the spotted Hyenas freely roam the crater floor on a lucky day. Unmatched for its natural variety and breathtaking beauty, there are very few places on earth where such tremendous diversity of landscapes exists inside a region of this size.

Besides its wildlife riches, the crater is also of great archeological importance with remains of mankind’s earliest ancestors having been discovered at Olduvai Gorge.

Also, there is quite a number of bird species refreshing in the small lakes therein the crater floor. Accommodation: Private Camping

Day 2: Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara

After breakfast, early in the morning depart with picnic lunch, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park is roughly 120 kms from Arusha. The park is famous for occasional tree climbing lions besides abundant bird life especially flamingos and hot springs around Lake Manyara. While on game drive, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the escarpment in this small but attractive park that is squeezed between the stunning Manyara Soda Lake and the Rift Valley.

Contrasting with the intimacy of the forest is the grassy flood plain and its expansive views eastward, the alkaline lake and jagged blue volcanic peaks that rise from the Maasai Steppe. Large Buffalos, Wildbeest and Zebras congregate on the grassy plains as do Giraffes whereby some are so dark in coloration that they appear to be black from a distance. Accommodation: Private Camping

Day 3: Roika – Tarangire - Arusha

After breakfast do full game drive at Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is renowned for its higher population of elephants than anywhere else in Tanzania. The park has got sparse vegetation with a host of baobab and acacia trees. Tarangire National Park experiences a mini migration of its own kind during this time of your visit because of Tarangire River that never dries up thereby attracting animals from their original habitats like Manyara, Monduli, Simanjiro, etc. After game drive with transfer to Arusha for drop off.
